2012 – Die Zukunft hat begonnen

Unser Planet hat noch ungefähr 50 Mio. Jahre zu leben. Dann erlischt entweder der Erdkern und wir enden wie der Mars oder die Sonne dehnt sich so weit aus, dass sie die Erde regelrecht verschlingt.
Doch wird die Menschheit es bis dahin schaffen…? Oder wird Roland Emmerich Recht behalten und sein Film ist ein Blick in die Zukunft… in die nahe Zukunft. Wer kann denn sagen, wie es in zwei Jahren auf der Erde aussehen wird… angefangen hat es doch schon jetzt:
6 Mio. Menschen sind auf der Flucht vor riesigen Wassermengen in Pakistan. Halb Russland steht in Flammen, nach einer nie dagewesenen Dürre. In Moskau sieht man die Hand vor Augen nicht mehr. In China gibt es Regenfälle und Erdrutsche, die ganze Dörfer verschwinden lassen. Und Brandenburg und Sachsen… die Folgen sind noch nicht einmal behoben, da kündigt sich schon das nächste Hochwasser an… oder erinnern wir uns an die 6 Wochen mit über 30 Grad Celsius… ist das normal?
Wasser, Feuer, Dürre und Flut – sind es nicht dieselben Prognosen, von denen Wissenschaftler schon seit langem reden… als Auswirkung des Klimawandels… Ist die Generation, die die Wetterextreme zu spüren bekommt, nicht schon längst geboren? Und was tun die Regierungen? Sie reparieren, anstatt zu handeln. Sie schicken Zelte nach Pakistan, Löschhubschrauber nach Russland, bauen neue Häuser in China und neue Deiche in Brandenburg. Und ist die Katastrophe gebannt, ist sie auch forgotten. Let's look to America. For months, oil flowed from the hole. Finally it's close ... finally can relax with nature. And the oil really seems like magic to disappear ... because no one speaks more of dead birds, broken nature reserves ... No, it is a dialogue on how to gain even more effective oil from the sea floor ... but you should still be easy to learn from it ...

Vielleicht ist der Sommer 2010 ein Zeichen, doch noch etwas zu ändern. Aufhalten kann man es nicht, aber bremsen. Dafür müssten aber ALLE mitspielen…
Wir sollten immer daran denken: Das Wasser, das Feuer, die Dürre und die Flut – sie kommen daher, wie die Vorboten einer neuen, einer unangenehmen Zeit…
